Anna Rose - Owner

Anna Rose has always had a dream of sharing her love of dance with students of all ages. While living in NJ, she had the opportunity to study dance in her younger years with Roberta Mathes of Steps on Broadway (New York, NY) and Dariusz R. Hochman of Broadway Dance Center (New York, NY) who inspired Anna to follow her dream of teaching and continue her education.

Miss Rose graduated from Montclair State University (Upper Montclair, NJ) in 2005 with her BFA in Dance.  During this time, Anna taught at Broadway Bound Dance Center in Dumont, NJ for seven years.  In 2007, she relocated to Florida, teaching at many locations around the Tampa Bay area. Anna is currently a certified Pinellas County School teacher and taught dance in the public school system for 10 years.  She is also POINTE certified with ABASI, PBT certified, Acrobatic Arts Certified, CPR/First Aid/AED instructor with the American Red Cross, and a member of NDEO (National Dance Education Association). Miss Rose was also named Discount Dance Supply’s 2019 Dance Teacher of the year.

After seeing the need for affordable, quality dance education, she began an after school program at a local school, which later led to Dreamer's Dance Company. Anna and her faculty at Dreamer's Dance Company strives to create a positive, accepting dance space for all her dancers and believes that each and every dancer should have the chance to dance and reach their dreams.   Dreamer’s Dance Company continues to give back to the community involvement, donations to local charities and through the Susan Rose Bonanno Memorial Fund, which helps dancers who are limited by financial resources to pursue their dreams and passions.

Originally from Athens, Greece, Kelly began dancing at the age of nine at a local dance studio after observing a dance class at her elementary school. At the age of 14, she received a full scholarship to attend a dance school of her choice and started to attend competitions. In 2011, she won first place in the Ladies Styling division at an international ballroom competition, Acropolis Dancesport, in Athens.

Kelly fell in love with dance instantly, and even more so after exploring its history and culture. She has completed her Associates in Arts Degree at Saint Petersburg College and is pursuing a Bachelors in Elementary and Special Education. Until she becomes a school teacher, she has made it her mission to show others the beauty dance holds by sharing her passion through dance instruction.

Jane Connors

Miss Jane loves ballet - everything and anything ballet! To do ballet correctly and grow as a ballerina, you first need love. Solid technique is next, and then lots and lots of practice.

Miss Jane was born in South Africa and grew up studying RAD (Royal Academy of Dance), ISTD (Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing) and Cecchetti style. She attended the University of Cape Town Ballet School in South Africa and has been qualified as a Ballet and National Character Dance teacher in ISTD method for over 30 years. This qualification is fully recognized by the RAD. She instructed briefly in South Africa before immigrating to America, where she taught in Connecticut, Kentucky and locally here in Florida.

Miss Jane follows the Royal Academy of Dance syllabus, keeping her dancers up to date with international standards. She begins by creating ballet magic with the little ones, then carries that over with the older ones as they continue to fall in love with ballet and develop a great respect for dance. She truly enjoys working with her students where in addition to studying safe and structured ballet technique, they discover the artistic joy and freedom of movement, along with the rewards of hard work which is showcased at the end of the year recital. I look forward to welcoming new students into the Wonderful World of Ballet.

Within the span of six years, from age 7-13, she performed in 25 plays. In high school she joined Show Choir and was part of Company of Singers when they became National Champions in 2010.

She loves and respects all art forms, but her true love is dance. In college, she returned to her roots of dance and graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance from Minnesota State University, Mankato. After a few professional performances in Minnesota she moved to Florida in 2018. Since then, she has shifted her efforts into teaching dance. She loves to share her love of movement and have fun with her students.

Erin Berger - Office Manager

Erin has been involved with Dreamer’s Dance Company since it’s foundation, both as a dance parent and helpful sidekick to Anna Rose. Although not a dancer, excluding her infamous “Octopus” move and a stint of ballet in her younger years, she has learned many of the ins and outs of studio operations and whole-heartedly supports all of our dancers. Her administrative and entrepreneurial experience is now focused on our studio, eager to enhance and grow our programs. Erin loves to interact with our students, making them laugh and entertaining (or embarrassing) them with her attempts to join in their dances.

Erin grew up in the small town of Galena, IL and left to earn a BSc in Biology from the University of St. Andrews in Scotland. After returning to the states, the travel bug struck again. She completed her TESOL Certification and spent a year teaching English in Daegu, South Korea.

While living in the Chicago area for several years after teaching, she married and had three girls, the two youngest of which are on the DDC dance team. Erin now lives in Pinellas county with her family, happy to be near the water.
